Infos & Booking

The descent of the Rio Vero that I propose you here is a real piece of history of canyoning. Indeed, it is the first descent recorded in the world for leisure (in the 60's) !

This classic descent of the rio Vero canyon consists of the exploration of two very big chaos of boulders which form giant labyrinths. The exploration of these chaos allows to discover magnificent caves and bubble baths forming natural jacuzzis. The nature is always incredible, the river being located between huge orange limestone cliffs of a hundred meters high. Not to mention the water, which, as everywhere in Sierra de Guara, is emerald and transparent. Here there are no big jumps or abseils, but a succession of swims, small jumps and descents, without forgetting the "oscuros" where the river becomes underground. This trip can also be the opportunity to discover Alquezar, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain!
