This animal photography course in the Gran Paradiso National Park in Italy is for people who want to get close to wildlife without having the physical fitness required to climb huge positive elevations.
Succeeding a royal reserve created in 1856 by King Victor Emmanuel II, the Gran Paradiso National Park was intended to protect the ibex threatened to disappear because of hunting. It is the oldest national park in Italy that was established in 1922 and adjoins the Vanoise National Park in France. The park is made up of fir trees, larches and when climbing alpine lawns are more present.
The fauna is very abundant in the park with the marmot, the ibex, the chamois and the ermine that share the territory with many birds like the eagle or bearded vulture.
D1: departure from Sallanches for Italy and the park of Gran Paradiso.
At this time the animals are still present in the valleys to find food and less harsh conditions. Depending on the animals, photographic approach and lookout for alpine fauna. Patience, observation and perseverance will be your allies to see chamois or ibexes and succeed your images.
Night and meal at the hotel.
D2 and D3: days devoted to the shooting, the composition and the waiting of situation to realize particular images.
In the morning you will go looking for animals. The sun comes to warm the valley and the animals who want to find their food. You will stroll while trying to find and approach the mountain fauna.

D4: The park of Gran Paradiso is a haven of tranquility for wild animals who can find here spaces where they can live in all serenity. The morning is spent shooting before leaving the park of Gran Paradiso to return to France.
Return to France scheduled around 4pm and separation of the group Sallanches.
