Program

D1: Paris.
Departure from Paris airport to Kathmandu.

D2: Kathmandu.
Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the Moonlight Hotel. Dinner in Kathmandu and overnight at the hotel.

D3: Pokhara.
Flight in the morning to reach the west of Nepal (duration: 40 minutes). Installation at the hotel. Afternoon free, with possibility to enjoy a massage parlor near the hotel.

D4: Pokhara - Tare Khola - Bundhi (1600m).
Transfer by bus to Tare Khola and start of the trek. 20 minutes uphill to Shanti Stupa and there a breathtaking panorama awaits you: Annapurnas, Machapuchare and Pokhara Lake! You continue to climb through the hills and villages of this region of Pokhara that few trekkers know. At noon you stop for the first meal cooked by our extraordinary team. In the afternoon, a quiet walk will take you to the beautiful Bumdhi camp, facing the Himalayan Massif.
4 to 5 hours of walking, positive elevation: 300m, night under tent.

D5: Bumdhi - Ningale (1964m).
This day makes you taste all types of terrain: climb, flat, descent into the forest to Ningale camp, small nest in the forest and only trekking camp where you will be out of sight the Himalayan Massif.
5 hours of walking, E+: 500m, E-: 300m, night under tent.

D6: Ningale - Panchase Banghyang (2066m).
The trail crosses the forest, climbs to a pass, and arrives in Panchase Banghyang where our team stops. From your side you continue to Panchase sacred lake where there is a small temple dedicated to Shiva. In 2013 we met Sadhus, those people renunciating who were there on pilgrimage and then continued to other holy places. Picnic at the lake then return to Panchase Banghyang, a charming and peaceful village. Camp, as always from now, facing the breathtaking beauty of the Annapurna Massif. While climbing to Ningale you have also seen Daulaghiri and Manaslu, two summits of more than 8000 meters of the area.
6 hours of walking, E+: 400m, E-: 200m, night under tent.

D7: Panchase Banghyang - Bhadaure (1640m).
In the morning, 500 meters of Nepalese steps are waiting for you, in order to climb to the top of Panchase, where the view is beautiful! Throughout the climb, the beauty of the rhododendrons in bloom accompanies and amazes you. That day the small steps and the correct use of the hiking poles will allow you to climb with the heart in celebration! At the top of Panchase is a small shrine dedicated to Shiva and another dedicated to the Buddha. There is also a place where lived for many years a meditator, there is his small cave where a stone is carved with the shape of his body.
You then go down towards Bhadaure, stopping on the way to eat. The path then descends to the pretty camp of Badhaure, another small village away from the paths.
4 hours of walking, E+: 500m, E-: 900m, night under tent.

D8: Bhadaure - Australian Camp (2060m).
The path goes down a little before going up and take a track towards Khara where there is a Buddhist temple that you visit if the monk who has the key is present. You eat near the village, then in the afternoon a climb through the forest takes you gently to the first camp where you find the classic path of the balconies of Annapurnas. Huge camp, closer to the Himalayan range and especially the majestic Machapuchare, the "Cervin of the Himalayas!".
4 to 5 hours of walking, E+: 400m, E-: 200m, night under tent.

D9: Australian Camp - Landrung (1565m).
The trail descends through the flowering rhododendron forests, passes through Deurali, descends again, goes up, crosses a river for a very varied day that will take you to Landrung, always closer to the mountains and glaciers. You are in gurung country, this famous ethnic group for the bravery of its inhabitants and its soldiers, the Gurkhas. Fortunately the kindness of the inhabitants has nothing to do with this image!
5 hours of walking, E+: 400m, E-: 600m, overnight in tent or lodge.

D10: Landrung - Ghandrung (1940m).
Today you go to the capital of Gurung country, Ghandrung, a large village of nearly 5000 inhabitants, where are located the offices of the Association for the preservation of the Annapurna region. But to get there you have to go down to New Bridge and cross the Modi Khola on a long suspended bridge, then go up through the terraces on a "steep" path! This will be the last climb of the trekking and you enjoy it, climbing without hurry!
4 hours of walking, E+: 600m, E-: 300m, overnight in tent or lodge.

D11: Ghandrung - Birethanti (1025m).
Today something is changing! Indeed, you leave Ghandrung with the mountains behind you, whereas they were in fornt of you until now, attracting you like magnets! For this last day of hiking you live a long but pleasant descent through the villages of Chane, Kimche, Syauli Bazar, Chimrung to Birethanti on the edge of Modi Khola where you begin to feel the heat.
E- : 900 m, overnight in tent or lodge.

D12: Birethanti - Nayaul - Kathmandu (1300m).
An hour's walk to reach Nayapul and the bus that takes you back to Kathmandu. You leave Pokhara, with emotion, and the Nepalese team who followed us, with a constant attention and benevolence. About 7 hours by bus before reaching the Nepalese capital, the time to integrate that you have to move on, the time of the walk is behind you but the lived moments are still present in you!
Transfer: about 7 to 8 hours by bus, overnight at the hotel.

D13: Kathmandu.
In the morning, visit two very important centers, the Buddhist site of Bodnath and Pashupatinath, with its temple dedicated to Shiva called Pashupati in Nepal, where daily cremations take place. Sometimes we stay in Bodnath, as this place touches our hearts!
Free afternoon. Overnight at the Moonlight Hotel.
