Description
Essential place of climbing, the Verdon is a beautiful place where you climb in gorges in the countryside, with a breathtaking view of the surroundings. The raptors fly over you when climbing ... unforgettable moments.
Climbing is suitable for all levels, even if the gorge has been a place long known for very good climbers, recent easy routes have been bolted for all.
So do not wait!
This internship will teach you to:
- Set up an anchor and improve yourself.
- Abseil down safely.
- Manage double ropes and draw.
- Read the natural rock with its risks.
- Belaying and rescue techniques.
This climbing course will allow you to acquire the basics or to deepen your knowledge to then become autonomous. You can evolve at your own pace and get advice from a professional.
If you want to progress and practice the activity I also offer:
- to climb a multi-pitch route in the Vercors,
- a course dedicated to multi-pitch route climbing in the Vercors,
- the ascent of a multi-pitch trad route in the Vercors massif.
- and a climbing stay in Oman.
And for an unforgettable adventure, you might come and spend a night on a cliff in the Vercors.
Program
- The exact program will be defined together day by day according to your level.
- We will climb famous routes in the heart of the Verdon gorges but also other routes with a varied climbing to have fun!
The price includes
- Supervision by the climbing instructor.
- Loan of equipment required for the activity except climbing shoes (harness, helmet, ropes, quickdraws, belay device, etc.).
- First aid kit.
The price does not include
- Transport to and from La Palud-sur-Verdon.
- Accomodation.
- Catering.
- Drinks.
- Shoes suitable for the outings.
- Option: from 10€ more I can take pictures and make a video of the outing for the group.
- Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
Accommodation
- Half-board accommodation can be booked at the UCPA in La Palud-sur-Verdon on request.
- This is the best value for money, and the food is very good.
