Description

I propose to take you to the foot or at the top of the majestic Mont Charvin, the pyramid of the Aravis massif, in a wild area renowned for ski touring.

On the border between Savoie and Haute-Savoie departments, we will be skiing on little-frequented slopes, or on the summit itself, at an altitude of 2409 meters above sea level, depending on the group's technical level. This aesthetically and pleasing summit in the southern Aravis range offers a host of interesting itineraries for ski touring. This day in the mountains will also be an opportunity to enjoy an incredible view of the nearby Mont-Blanc massif!

Throughout the winter season, you can follow me on other ski touring outings in the massifs around Annecy or on the summits of the Aravis massif. You can also extend the pleasure with these 3 days of ski touring and yoga in the Aravis.

Program

Meet at 9am at the starting point of the hike, about 50 minutes drive from Annecy and 30 minutes from Albertville.
Ski touring on Mont Charvin.
Picnic break to enjoy the ambience and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Return to the parking lot in the afternoon.

The price includes

Ski touring supervision by the mountain guide, specialist of the area.
Loan of avalanche beacon, shovel and probe safety kit (if necessary).

The price does not include

Transport to and from the meeting point in the Aravis massif.
Ski touring personal equipment: skis, skins, hiking poles, helmet.
Your picnic.
