Infos & Booking

This three-day course is designed for all those who want to start ski touring or review the technical basics.

You will live three beautiful days dedicated to giving you all the necessary elements to discover the ski touring activity with confidence in sites preserved from the crowds..

I will be there to give you an update on climbing techniques (conversions) and to give you the keys for the descent in all types of snow, to find the right rate and balance in ski touring, to master the use of the transceiver (victims of avalanches detector) and finally to acquire the basics in cartography.

  • Know how to ski while being comfortable on a red slope.
  • Have a good physical condition (able to walk 3 to 4 hours in the mountains, hiking with a backpack).

The course takes place in the South part of the Vercors massif and you will discover over there the natural reserve of the highlands but also the Dévoluy massif nearby.

In summary: an experienced teacher trainer mountain guide, a top-class hospitality and a group life to share and move forward together.

Welcome the night before at the Arc en ciel cottage in Marignac-en-Diois, above Die.

D1: Ski tour in the Vercors massif.
Today, you will learn or review the technical bases of progression when climbing (conversions, rate, balanced attitude...).

The descent is an opportunity for me to give you the indications to be comfortable when skiing in any kind of snow.

During this day, you will experience the conduct of the track and perfect your balance. You will also have a long training time on the use of transceiver.
