We do not offer the public to do « dog sledding » or snow activities. The role of dog sled teams was to allow travel and transport in the countries of the far north. In this state of mind, teens will live an experience driving their team and will discover its operation and the accomplice relationship with dogs in teamwork.
This activity for teenagers takes place in Isère, in the north of the Belledonne Massif, exactly in the Haut Bréda Valley, above Allevard.
At the beginning of December, karts and scooters can replaces sledges if the snow conditions do not allow it. Our activities are thus ensured all year long.
Program
- Meeting at the place of departure.
- The activity begins with a moment of explanations on the teams: the operation, the role of dogs, their musher, and driving.
- We then hitch the dogs before leaving for a small trip in the wilderness, on a wide variety of terrain to manipulate the team and understand its operation.
