Infos & BookingDescription
I propose you to come with me to practice a different approach of the mountain, in snowshoe hiking.
This itinerary that I have selected for you takes place at high altitude and allows you to discover high valleys where few snowshoers have ever been.
The Mont Thabor massif is ideal to explore a lot of valleys and summits between Briançon region / Clarée valley and Maurienne valley, between Savoie and Hautes-Alpes.
You will cross the fateful 3000 meters of altitude by climbing the Pointe de Terre Rouge (3080m), facing the emblematic Mont Thabor.
This snowshoeing trek, although without difficulty, takes place in the high mountains, with the constraints that this imposes in terms of weather conditions, accommodation and portage.
Departures are on demand: you choose your dates!
And if you like snowy treks, I propose other magnificent itineraries in the region:
- two days of snowshoeing to go around the Aiguille du Fruit in Vanoise,
- four days of snowshoeing trek in Vanoise around the Pointe de la Sana,
- two days of snowshoeing in the Beaufortain.
Program
3 days of snowshoe trekking, plus two nights in a mountain refuge.
Do not hesitate to contact me for more details on the exact programme.
