Description

A small Balkan country, Montenegro offers the same advantages as neighbouring Croatia, but is less touristy. It is nowadays known and recognized for its lively seaside destinations on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, for its mountains perfect for hiking and for its rich heritage.

Depending on my availability, the guide can also be an English-speaking Montenegrin.

After breakfast, you will drive through the beautiful Moraca canyon to the Moraca Monastery. We will then continue to the Biogradska Gora National Park, also known as the "last jungle in Europe", which contains a unique natural wealth. We will walk freely in the primary forest of the park along the beautiful path around the lake known for its pure water.
The route continues along the Tara river to the second deepest canyon in the world. You will discover the impressive Durdevica bridge and walk on it to enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the canyon.

Head to the Tara river where you will meet your professional guide and gear up for a rafting trip on the Ljutica river. You will enjoy the adrenaline rush of this 14km descent through the Durmitor National Park and the beautiful Tara canyon.
You will then reach the village of Zabljak and the Black lake, hidden under the peaks of Durmitor rising to more than 2000 meters (walk around the lake).
