Born in Paris, and refractory to any kind of hiking in my younger years, I discovered mountain biking and the Hautes-Alpes with a high school friend coming from this department. The virus is installed: this time, it's me who asks my parents to go to the mountains and to walk. As I entered a prestigious engineering school, we were asked to choose a sport that would be ours for the next 2 years. A bit randomly, but with the idea of taking up mountaineering, I chose the climbing option. I was hooked again, and with my friends, we spent many days in "Bleau", weekends on the cliffs, and sessions on the school's boulder wall. It was also there that I discovered mountaineering and ski touring, with the school's mountain club.
At the end of my studies, I have the opportunity to do an internship in Crest, a small town in the Drôme department. I stayed there for 5 years, intensifying my practice of the mountain, in particular by becoming a volunteer supervisor in the local club. As my practice developed, I had the idea to turn this passion into a profession. But it took me a few more years to weigh the pros and cons, and to learn about the profession, before I dared to embark on the adventure and become a mountain guide. All the days I spent up there with my clients show me that I made the right choice!
Attached to my life balance, and conscious of the risks that this job induces, I decided to keep a double activity as an engineer, which leaves me a great freedom in my work as a guide. My practice of the profession is articulated between training to autonomy and a more traditional accompaniment of my customers towards their objectives, but whatever your request, I always have in heart to build together the project with the customers, while remaining force of proposal.
Whatever the goal of the day, it will always be a pleasure to accompany you up there, to help you progress, and to see you return tired but happy. Mountaineering, climbing, ski touring, off-piste skiing, ice climbing or via ferrata, there is something for all tastes and all levels, and most of the activities are adaptable to children. I propose you here some ideas of days or stays, but don't hesitate to contact me to build together a project that suits you.
Based in Grenoble, I enjoy taking my clients to my favorite places, but I especially like to discover beautiful routes with them. The centrality of Grenoble allows me to travel to many mountain ranges with a predilection for wild places such as the Écrins massif.
