Embark with us on this 17-day classic trek to the base of Mt. Everest through the villages of the Sherpa people, who are well-known for their excellent mountaineering skills and warm hospitality. The spectacular, breathtaking mountain scenery makes this trek to Everest Base Camp a favorite of all trekkers.

Every day you'll have the opportunity to see the many peaks from different angles while passing through the beautiful villages, forests, mani walls, chortens, monasteries, suspension bridges, etc. During this trek, you will pass through the captivating forest of rhododendron, oak, pine and juniper, while often crossing paths with yaks. Himalayan jharals and monal, Tibetan snowcock, blood pheasant, etc. can be seen often throughout the trail.

From places like Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar, you'll have the opportunity to see some of the world's highest peaks like Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8463m), Cho Oyu (8201m) and other peaks like Nuptse (7855m), Pumori (7161m), Thamserku (6623m) and Ama Dablam (6812m).

This trek starts from and ends at the same place, Lukla, which is around 25 minutes of breathtaking flight from Manthali. Program

D1: Arrival in Kathmandu.

D2: Trekking preparation.

D3: Beginning of the trekking.
Drive to Manthali, then flight to Lukla (2840m).
Beginning of the trekking to Phakding (265m).

Duration: 3-4 hours of car ride, 25 minutes of flight, and 2 hours of walking

D4: Hike to Namche Bazaar (3438m).
5 to 6 hours of walking.

D5: Acclimatization day.

D6: Hike to Tengboche (3870m).
6 hours of walking.

D7: Hike to Dingboche (4360m).
4 to 5 hours of walking.

D8: Acclimatization day.

D9: Hike to Lobuche (4940m).
4 to 5 hours of walking.

D10: Hike to Gorak Shep (5140m) and exploration of Everest Base Camp (5380m).
6 to 7 hours of walking.

D11: Early morning climb to Kala Patthar (5545m) and hike to Pheriche (4240m).
7 hours of walking.

D12: Hike to Tengboche (3870m).
4 hours of walking.

D13: Hike to Monjo (2835m).
6 to 7 hours of walking.

D14: Hike to Lukla (2840m).
5 hours of walking.

D15: Fly to Manthali and drive to Kathmandu.
Duration: 25 minutes of flight and 3-4 hours of car ride

D16: Extra day in case of flight cancellation due to bad weather.

D17: Final departure from Katmlandhu.

The price includes

• Supervision by the English-speaking guide equipped with a satellite phone and an oximeter.
• A porter for two people (maximum weight: 11 kg per client) and an assistant guide for a group of more than 4 people.
• 4 nights in Kathmandu on a sharing and B/B basis (Hotel Moonlight or Apsara Boutique Hotel).
• Three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) with tea/coffee during the trekking.
• Kathmandu-Manthali-Kathmandu transfers in a private vehicle. 
• Return flight Manthali-Lukla-Manthali.
