Night on a cliff in the Pyrenees or Occitanie

Description

Would you like to spend an unforgettable night under the stars, suspended high up on a cliff? Or would you like to learn big wall techniques? Whether you are an experienced climber or not, it is possible to come and discover the incredible portaledge atmosphere!

The portaledge is a folding platform used by climbers during their multi-day ascents. Comfortable, flat and light, it is the perfect way to spend a good night with your head in the stars. Of course, all along the experience and of course during the night, you will always be attached and connected to the wall for a total safety.

This unusual night can take place in the Pyrenees mountains (Spanish or French side) or in Occitania region (for example above the Colombières gorges in the Caroux massif, north of Béziers), depending on your preference and location.

Depending on your level and your desires, it is possible to add various activities before settling down for the evening and the night on the portaledge, as:

• introduction to cliff climbing,
• advanced climbing session,
• climb a multi-pitch route,
• hike-abseil,
• via ferrata,
• rope handling / bag hoisting / etc. workshop.

Program

• We will start with a short approach walk to reach the cliff and then set up your wall bed together. See options above to make your outing more enjoyable.
• Dinner and night under the stars (non-contractual).
• Wake up in the morning then breakfast.
• Uninstall your equipment and walk back to the parking lot.

The price includes

• Supervision by the climbing instructor.
• Equipment necessary for the practice of the activity: helmet, harness, lanyards, portaledge, ropes, etc.
• Souvenir photos.

The price does not include

• Return transport to the meeting point.
• Personal equipment for the bivouac (sleeping bag, ground sheet, warm clothing, etc.).
• Dinner and breakfast.
• All drinks.
• Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
