Ski touring trip in the Tromsø region

Description

I am offering a ski touring trip around Tromsø in the far north of Norway.

Accommodation is half board in a hotel and our outings will be based around the Norwegian ski touring capital, within an hour's drive.

During these five days of skiing, you will enjoy an extraordinary atmosphere, with incredible landscapes and descents overlooking the sea. So don't wait to try the adventure of ski touring in Norway!

Program

D1: Arrival in Tromsø.
Departure from France and flight to Tromsø.
Meet at the Home With Hotel (formerly Clarion Collection With) on the port of Tromsø.
Evening meal and overnight stay at the hotel.

D2: Ascent of Daudmannstinden.
Early departure for the Troms area and ascent of Daudmannstinden at an altitude of 1060 meters.
This first day is a good warm-up before the rest of the trip.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

D3: Ascent of Hollendaren.
Early morning departure for the Kvaloya area and ascent of Hollendaren (1029 meters).
This beautiful summit offers a steeper descent option.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

D4: Ascent of Istinsden.
Early morning departure for the Ringvassoya sector and ascent of Istinsden (952m).
The day's ski tour ends on a glacier.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

D5: Ascent of Bentsjordiden.
Early morning departure for the Malagen area and ascent of Bentsjordiden (1168 m).
This beautiful summit is quite technical, with a nice alternative route for the descent.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

D6: Ascent of Sennedalfjellet.
Early departure for the Troms region and ascent of Sennedalfjellet (1395m).
Today we climb and ski a fairly remote but major peak in the region.
Return to the hotel, meal and overnight stay on site.

D7: Return to France.

The price includes

• Supervision by the mountain guide and a ski instructor.
• Transportation costs for the guide and instructor.
• Accommodation costs for the entire trip with half board (based on double occupancy).
• Catering during the trip: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Transfers by minivan.

The price does not include

• International flights.
• Airport taxes and any local taxes.
• Drinks.
• Personal expenses on site.
• Search, evacuation, and medical repatriation insurance.
• More generally, all costs incurred due to a change in the program for reasons beyond the organization's control (security, bad weather, evacuations, strikes, etc.).
• Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
