I suggest you follow me for a 4-day itinerant hike through the Hautes Combes du Jura.
Located between Lajoux and La Pesse, the Hautes Combes du Jura have a gentle relief inviting novices and contemplatives to explore this endearing territory.
The network of lodgings is also a strong point in this sector, allowing you to enjoy beautiful roaming along the gentle curves and with a certain "comfort".
Pastures, high altitude forests and remarkable landscapes characterize this stay, perfectly suited to a first approach to itinerant trekking.

Program
Day 1: Le Manon - Les Molunes - Bellecombe.
Meet and greet and equipment check before departure.
A guaranteed change of scenery and instant immersion in the atmosphere of the Jura: you will discover unique landscapes, dotted with magical forests and long valleys, the combes, where people have settled, forming a scattered habitat that is quite characteristic!
There are also plenty of viewpoints, and you will discover some of my favorite spots...
In short, a day of pleasure and tranquility to reach our lodge at the far end of Bellecombe.
Picnic lunch.
Half-board accommodation in a lodge (bring a snack for lunch).
Distance: 12 km, elevation gain: 300 meters, elevation loss: 200 meters.
Day 2: Bellecombe - Crêt au Merle - Borne au lion - Crêt de Chalam - La Pesse.
This panoramic day trip takes us along a magnificent ridge that I chose for its wild and aesthetic qualities. After lunch at Borne au Lion and before reaching La Pesse, we set off to conquer Crêt de Chalam, historical and charismatic. From the summit, an exceptional panorama awaits us over the Jura mountains and perhaps even the Alps if the weather is on our side!

Distance: 13 km, elevation gain: 450 meters, elevation loss: 500 meters.
Day 3: La Pesse - La Bramande - Les Moussières - Les Molunes.
Today we enjoy another magnificent route through woods, and hidden valleys.
The day begins with a visit to the Malatrait valley, followed by the charming village of Les Moussières.
We are walking all or part of the Grande Traversée du Jura, an iconic route that we follow to our final accommodation in Les Molunes.

Distance: 11.4 km, elevation gain: 200 meters, elevation loss: 400 meters.
Day 4: Les Molunes - Septmoncel - Luette viewpoint - Le Manon.
The last day of our adventure through the magical landscapes of the Jura. Today, you will get a glimpse of the sunny slopes overlooking Saint-Claude as you discover the pretty viewpoints overlooking the village of Septmoncel. Craftsmanship and industry have made this corner of the mountains famous, as evidenced by the lapidary trail.
We will climb back up to our starting point through the wide valleys and green pastures of La Couronne.

The activity is scheduled to end in the middle of the afternoon.
Distance: 11.5 km, elevation gain: 400 meters, elevation loss: 350 meters.
