Canyoning in the Roujanel stream (Cévennes)

Join me for a canyoning descent of the Haut Roujanel, an incredible adventure that will allow you to discover spectacular landscapes in the heart of the Cévennes. This guided canyoning trip promises a half-day packed with excitement!

The Roujanel is one of the most beautiful canyons in the region: it offers an immersive experience in a still pristine natural environement. The route includes a 5-meter rappel down a waterfall, as well as numerous jumps into natural pools (never mandatory) and slides down natural water slides. It's the perfect canyoning descent to discover the activity with family or friends.

I will also give you advice on how to improve your various techniques and make the most of this exceptional canyoning adventure.

The trip is open to anyone in good physical condition (no previous experience is required) and with no medical contraindications to canyoning. You must be at least 7 years old, be able to swim and weigh less than 120 kg.

The schedule is subject to change at the last minute, depending on weather conditions, water levels, number of people registered, etc. The canyon is generally accessible until mid-July.

Program

Meet in the morning at 8.45am or in the afternoon at 1.15pm in Prévenchères in the parking lot by the D906 national road.
Allow 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Les Vans, 1 and a half hour from Ruoms or Alès, 1 and 45 minutes from Vallon-Pont-d'Arc or Aubenas and 2 hours from Bagnols-sur-Cèze or Larnas.
Approach walk of 10 minutes.
Approximately 2 and a half hours of activity in the canyon.
30-minute return walk to the parking lot.
In total, about 3 hours of activity.

The price includes

Supervision by the canyoning instructor.
All the equipment you need for the activity: neoprene wetsuit and socks, helmet, harness, belay device, backpack, waterproof can, canyoning shoes (sizes from 33 to 48).
A photo report of your outing.
Adult price: 60€.
Price for children aged 7 to 12: 55€.

The price does not include

Return transport to the canyon parking lot near Prévenchères.
Swimming costume and towel.
At least 1 liter of water for 2 people (plastic bottle).
Snacks (cereal bar).
A lanyard if you wear glasses.
An elastic band to tie up long hair.
A change of clothes after the activity.
Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
