Outdoor climbing session (Savoie region)

Description

Do you dream of climbing to new heights amidst the stunning landscapes of Savoie and Haute-Savoie departments?
I offer half-day climbing sessions perfectly tailored to your desires and needs, whether you are a curious beginner or an experienced climber looking to refine your technique outdoors.

Depending on your location and preferences, we can climb the sculpted limestone rock of Angon overlooking the turquoise waters of Annecy lake, or sunny cliffs above Bourget lake near the city of Aix-les-Bains. We can also escape to more secluded and idyllic spots, nestled deep in the forest, for a peaceful and refreshing session.

My goal? To share my passion with you in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere. Here, we are not focused on performance at all costs, but on the joy of climbing, sharing knowledge, and, of course, the view!

If you have more time, you can also follow me for a day of climbing in Savoie or Haute-Savoie. And to progress in your practice of the activity, I also offer a discovery of multi-pitch climbing in Annecy or Aix-les-Bains, some multi-pitch climbing in the Savoie region and even training in traditional climbing around Annecy.

Program

• Meet at the parking lot of the climbing site we have chosen together (depending on the weather, your skill level, and where you are staying).
• Approach walk: 5 to 25 minutes (for a half-day session, I try to keep the walk to the base of the routes short).
• Technical and safety workshop: learning (or reviewing) rope knots, belaying, and basic climbing techniques. I will take the time to explain everything so you feel confident.
• Climbing and fun (2.5 to 3 hours):
  • Climbing several routes adapted to your progress.
  • Personalized advice to improve your footwork and balance.
  • Exploring the vertical environment at your own pace, without pressure.
• Debriefing: a friendly chat at the end of the session to share your impressions of the day's climbs.

The price includes

• Passionate supervision by the climbing instructor.
• Loan of complete, recent and quality technical equipment (PPE):
  • Adjustable harness.
  • Ropes and belay system.
  • Protective helmet.
  • Climbing shoes (if you do not have them, specify your size when booking).
• Professional liability insurance of the instructor.

The price does not include

• Return transport to the climbing site.
• Your sports outfit (soft clothing such as leggings or long shorts to protect your knees).
• Small backpack with water, snacks and possibly sunscreen.
• Individual accident insurance (highly recommended for mountain activities).
• Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
