Outdoor climbing day (Savoie region)

Do you already practice climbing regularly, indoors or occasionally outdoors, and you want to take a step forward?
This development day is designed for you!
Beyond the simple ascent, we will explore together the keys to autonomy on cliffs in the exceptional environment of the cliffs of Haute-Savoie or Savoie.

The idea is to spend an immersive day, far from rushing, to dissect rope manipulations, refine your movements on a natural rock and gain confidence in your decision-making. Whether in the cool of the Aravis massif or on the cliffs bordering Annecy or Bourget lakes, we will evolve in an atmosphere of sharing where each question finds its technical answer.

This day is made to become a more complete, safer climber, while enjoying the great outdoors.

If you are new to the activity or have less time, I also offer climbing sessions near Annecy or Aix-les-Bains. And to go further, you can opt for an introduction to multi-pitch climbing in the Savoie region, the ascent of a multi-pitch route in Savoie or Haute-Savoie or for a discovery of traditional climbing in Savoie Mont Blanc.

Program

• Meet and greet over coffee (if I think about it) to discuss your expectations and define the objectives for the day together.
• Safety and fundamentals: review of acquired knowledge and introduction to techniques specific to the cliff (installation of a top rope, handling of the top of the route, anchors).
• Thematic workshops: 
  • Gestures: optimize your positions (grip, edges, balance) to save your strength. 
  • Route reading: learn to anticipate the route and rest points from below. 
  • Mental: learn to manage stress and fall safely ("flight" school if the site is suitable).
• Put into practice: climbing several routes of different levels to validate technical skills.
• Summary: analysis of the day and personalized advice for your future progress.

The price includes

• Educational supervision by the climbing instructor.
• Loan of collective technical equipment (ropes, quickdraws).
• Individual safety equipment if necessary (adjustable harness, helmet, belay system, relay lanyards).
• Climbing shoes (if you do not have them, specify your size when booking).
• The instructor's Professional Civil Liability insurance.
• Educational materials

The price does not include

• Return transport to the practice site.
• Lunch (picnic) and drinks (provide at least 1.5 liters of water per person).
• Individual accident insurance (highly recommended for mountain activities).
