Multi-pitch climbing discovery (Savoie region)

Description

Do you feel cramped at the foot of the cliffs and dream of seeing what is happening higher up?

Half-day multi-pitch climbing is the perfect format to introduce you to multi-pitch routes without spending the entire day. You will experience a condensed vertical journey, perfect for discovering the sensations of height above the lakes of Annecy or Le Bourget.

The objective of this session is to give you the experience of climbing being rope up: leave the ground, complete 3 or 4 pitches of climbing (i.e. approximately 100 to 150 meters of cliff) and organize a relay suspended between sky and earth. Whether you are a curious indoor climber or a regular at single-pitch climbing, I will take you on affordable routes where the pleasure of the view and the fluidity of movement take precedence over pure difficulty. This will be an opportunity to take advantage of a suspended break to gain height, in complete serenity.

To continue the adventure, I suggest we head out together for a day of multi-pitch climbing in Savoie Mont Blanc. You could also opt for a climbing day in Annecy or Aix-les-Bains, or an introduction to traditional climbing in the Savoie region.

Program

• Meet and greet at the chosen site.
• Short approach walk of 15 to 30 minutes to reach the start of our route.
• "Special multi-pitch route" briefing: presentation of specific equipment (double rope, lanyards), organization of the rope and communication on the wall.
• Ascent of the route (2 to 3 hours):
  • Climbing 3 to 5 pitches depending on the site.
  • Learning and management of relays (comfort, safety, installation).
  • Management of the height and belaying of the second.
  • Management of belaying with a double rope.
• Descent: depending on the summit, return via a path or first abseiling experience to reach the foot of the route.
• Sharing: friendly moment upon return to discuss your feelings.

The price includes

• Personalized supervision by the climbing instructor.
• Loan of specific collective technical equipment (double ropes, quickdraws, anchor equipment).
• Individual safety equipment if necessary (harness, helmet, belay system).
• The instructor's Professional Civil Liability insurance.
• Photos of your adventure to keep a memory of your first "big wall".

The price does not include

• Return transport to the meeting point.
• Your personal equipment: climbing shoes, suitable sports clothing, small backpack (15 to 20 liters).
• Water and a small snack.
• Individual accident insurance (highly recommended for mountain activities).
