Description
Treat yourself to two days of intensive trail running training in the heart of the Cirque de Salazie, an exceptional environment to maximize your performance and give yourself every chance of achieving your goals.
Starting from the village of Hell-Bourg, you will immerse yourself in conditions similar to those of a real race with a comprehensive program: familiarizing yourself with the start of the Mascareignes trail running race and the new section of the legendary Diagonale des Fous.
The goal is to experience the terrain firsthand, test your equipment in real-world conditions, and progress safely.
As an experienced trail runner preparing for my third Diagonale des Fous, I will share my expertise and personalized advice to help you fine-tune your training one month before the race.
I also offer other trail running weekends in Reunion Island throughout the year:
- a trail running weekend focused on elevation gain in Grand Ilet and
- an intense trail running weekend in Salazie.
Program
Day 1: Loop in the Cirque de Salazie.
Recognition of the start of the Mascareignes trail to the start of the Scout Trail, then return to the hotel via Trou Blanc and the Terre Plate forest.
Day 2: Cap Anglais and the Bélouve forest.
Ascent of Cap Anglais to the Caverne Dufour lodge, then return to Hell-Bourg via the Bélouve forest.
The price includes
- Supervision by the mountain leader who is also an experienced trail runner..
- Overnight stay in a bungalow (private rooms available for an additional fee).
- Dinner on the first evening.

The price does not include
- Return transport to the village of Hell-Bourg, a one-hour drive from Saint-Denis.
- Picnic lunch of day 1 (food and drinks available at the bakery or shops).
