I discovered climbing more than 30 years ago on the British sea cliffs. I was immediately hooked and from that day onwards climbing has influenced and guided my choices in life. I am originally from Germany but have lived in France now since 2007. I completed my French guiding diploma, the Brevet d’État d’escalade in 2012.

Initially climbing was a way for me to discover the world and myself. For many years I explored many aspects of climbing: trad, sport, big wall, alpine, boulder, ice and expeditions. Little by little with age and experience my outlook and my philosophy towards climbing evolved and changed. These days, it is pure rock climbing which animates me most and I discovered the Gorges du Tarn in 2017. In 2021 I decided to stay and settle in this beautiful area, and today I live  in close proximity of the Gorges du Tarn, Gorges de la Jonte and Gorges de la Dourbie.

Right from the beginning of my personal climbing journey it was the joy of moving in the vertical that fascinated me. I always liked feeling my body in motion on the rock and I have always been interested and curious about how to find that magic balance where body and mind become one and movement becomes effortless.

This passion of finding balance and well being in and through movement has led me in 2012 to the Alexander Technique and I received my diploma to be a teacher of this technique in 2023. My climbing teaching and coaching today is influenced by its philosophy.

No matter how little or how much experience you have, if you wish to either discover or progress in climbing please don’t hesitate to contact me.

I propose:

  • 1 : 1 coaching and instructing in sport climbing, trad climbing or multi pitch climbing (all levels welcome).
  • Workshops and courses (3 - 5 days) in very small groupes (2 - 6 people maximum depending on the type of workshop):
    • "Climb Zen": 3-day fear of falling workshop during which we will be looking at how to navigate and regulate our fear of falling in order to feel more confident, knowledgeable and at ease in our climbing.
    • "Climbing & the Alexander Technique": 5-day workshop that invites you to explore how the Alexander Technique can be a powerful tool to transform your climbing towards increased presence, calm and efficiency.
    • "Inside Out": a 4-day course for climbers who want to do the transition from indoor to outdoor climbing.
