Description
Only 35 minutes drive from Porto-Vecchio, in the heart of the Alta-Rocca region, a real citadel of stone, I will make you discover, between mysterious forest and granite chaos, all the natural and historical heritage of this magical place that is Ospédale.
You will then have lunch in front of one of the most beautiful panoramas of the south of Corsica.

I also propose other beautiful hikes to discover southern Corsica in a different way:
- a hike along the secret paths of Bavella,
- a magnificent discovery of the Pozzi,
- some hiking to Monte Renoso,
- the discovery of the beautiful Purcaraccia waterfalls
- and a hiking weekend on the Coscione plateau (also available by the day or with snowshoes in winter).
Program
- Meet at 9am in Porto-Vecchio (departure from the Ospedale road) or at 9.30am at Cartalavonu crossroads before Ospedale lake .
- Departure of the hike to the Ospedale at 9.35am.
3 hours of hiking, positive altitude difference of 300 meters. - Picnic on the spot.
- Return to vehicles around 3pm.
The price includes
- Supervision by the mountain leader.
The price does not include
- Transport to and from Porto-Vecchio or Cartalavonu crossroads.
- Optional Corsican picnic: 10€ per person.
(bread, Corsican charcuterie, ewe's milk cheese with organic fig jam, canistrelli, coffee, rosé wine, etc.) - Transport to and from the start of the hike.
