Description
During July and August, I offer itinerant bivouac treks departing from Val d'Isère in Savoie. Let me know your dates so that we can plan a departure together.
You will spend 2 days hiking in the heart of the Vanoise, discovering the surrounding lakes and forests. You will spend the night in a tented bivouac in the wilderness, so we will need to set up camp and install all our eating and sleeping equipment.
Alone, with friends or family, set off on an adventure and spend the night closer to the stars, for a 2-day sporting break in the wilderness.
Two itineraries are available, depending on your level and preferences (see program).
If you like multi-day treks, I also offer:
- a 9-day tour of the Queyras massif,
- the Clarée valley tour,
- the tour of the Taillefer plateau,
- the trek around Mont Lozère in the Cévennes,
- the Valgaudemar valley tour
- and the tour of the Écrins massif.
Program
Trek #1: Magnificent hike through paths, balconies and forests.
- D1: distance 9.5 km, positive altitude difference: 600 meters, negative altitude difference: 477 meters.
- D2: distance 5.5 km, D+: 420 meters, D-: 540 meters.
Trek #2: Discover the Tarentaise lakes.
Possibility of off-trail hiking for a more challenging outing.
- D1: distance 7.75 km, D+: 1100 meters, D-: 60 meters.
- D2: distance 10.6 km, D+: 190 meters, D-: 1220 meters.
The price includes
- Supervision by the mountain leader.
- Loan of 2-seater tent, sleeping bag, silk sheet and mattress.
- Meal kit with communal stove.
- All food.
The price does not include
- Return transport to Val d'Isère, a 2-hour drive from Chambéry.
- Snacks.
- Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
