Description
Come with me on a three-day snowshoeing trip in the Pyrénées-Orientales, on a plateau at an altitude of over 2000 meters.
In winter, the Bouillouses plateau offers a real journey into the heart of wild nature, frozen by the cold, reminiscent of the landscapes of Canada. You will discover numerous frozen ponds, offering spectacular panoramas and a total disconnect from everyday life.
The immaculate whiteness of the snow covering the forests and peaks creates a peaceful and magical atmosphere. The vast open spaces allow you to fully experience the grandeur and serenity of the mountains. And every step you take on snowshoes reveals traces of wild animals, adding a unique dimension of adventure and discovery to your stay.

Program
D1: Snowshoe hike to the Bouillouses dam.
The group will be welcomed between 9 and 10am in the village of La Llagonne.
We will hike to the Bouillouses dam, located at an altitude of over 2000 meters on a plateau covered with mountain pines.
Overnight stay and dinner in a mountain refuge.
Distance: 11km, positive altitude difference: 400 meters.
D2: Tour of the Bouillouses lakes.
Today we set off on a tour of the Bouillouses plateau to discover several frozen mountain lakes in a far north atmosphere.
Overnight stay and dinner in a mountain refuge.
Distance: 7km, D+: 450m.
D3: Bouillouses valley.
After a last look at the Bouillouses plateau, we take a pretty temporary trail through a beautiful fir forest. This descent leaves the snow-covered high plateaus to return to our starting point.
Return and end of the trip around 4pm.
Distance: 13km, D+: 300m.
The price includes
- Supervision and organization by the mountain leader.

- Return transport to La Llagonne, a 20-minute drive from Font-Romeu and an hour and a half from Perpignan.
