Infos & BookingDescription
I invite you to join me on the Ammonites Via Ferrata, an ideal route for a gentle introduction to this activity.
Designed for beginners and families, this route, located in the heart of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department, is accessible and fun. Whether with friends, family, or children, everyone can enjoy the thrills of this route.
Quickly accessible, the Ammonites via ferrata allows you to gain altitude on a beautiful limestone cliff. It begins with a traverse to the left to a first footbridge. Afterward, you will need to take a ladder, traverse slightly to the right, and then continue straight up to a second footbridge. This is followed by two monkey bridges that will provide a few thrills. The route then continues to climb the rock face, linking different sections, including a slab. Once you reach the summit, it is time to take a break and enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding mountains before heading back down the trail to the parking lot.
The Ammonites via ferrata is accessible to children aged 7 and up.
Minimum group size: 4 people. However, if your group is smaller than 4, a private outing is available at the price of 4 people.
If you enjoyed this experience, I recommend its neighbor, the Grande Fistoire via ferrata.
For other great vertical adventures in the region, you can join me on the Rocher de Neuf Heures via ferrata in Digne-les-Bains and the Meichira via ferrata in the Bléone valley.
And if this via ferrata has given you a taste for heights, why not try a half-day or full-day introductory climbing session on a cliff near Digne-les-Bains?
