Partnership with UNAM

DirectMountain is partner of the National Union of Mountain Leaders (UNAM).

Created in 2013, the UNAM is a professional union, made up of professionals who are trainees or holders of the state certificate or state diploma of mountaineering - mountain leader. The UNAM is established throughout France and brings together professionals and groups of professionals (mountain offices) in all the mainland massifs. The union's mission is to represent and federate the profession, to participate in all debates concerning its future and positioning, and to initiate and participate in actions designed to promote the discovery of the mountains through hiking in all its forms.

The professional members of the UNAM are now committed to the discovery and promotion of their profession.
They are grouped together within their union to defend their profession and help it evolve in the right direction, in line with the following fundamental values

• solidarity,
• fairness,
• justice,
• care for others.

These values are shared by many mountain people. They guide the action and commitment of the UNAM.
