Description
This hikeing and mushroom picking weekend in the Champsaur valley is focused on discovery: it is mainly aimed at people who want to discover mushrooms, their picking and how to cook them.
The hikes are of an easy level: the efforts are moderate and the differences in altitude modest, the main thing being to enjoy yourself.
In addition to the fun aspect of these outings, this weekend of hiking and picking will put you on the road to autonomy. You will discover several kinds of mushrooms and how to cook them. You will enjoy the magnificent landscapes of the Champsaur under the sun of the Hautes-Alpes while walking at your own pace!
The weekend is done in small groups of 8 people maximum: I privilege the conviviality.
Program
D0: Welcome in Gap.
Arrival from 5pm then welcome drink at the gite.
D1: Walk in the forest of Ancelle.
This day is dedicated to the discovery of the activity and the valley: warm up, mushroom picking then we will cook our harvest at the lodge.
D2: Walk in the forest above Poligny.
Return to the gite around 4.30pm then departure.
Note: This program is given as an indication and can be modified according to the weather conditions.
The price includes
- Supervision by the mountain leader.
- Accommodation in our gite for the weekend from Friday evening to Sunday late afternoon.
- Lunch (picnic), evening meals, breakfast, from the reception (D0) to the separation.
- Loan of hiking poles if necessary.
The price does not include
- Transport to and from the gite (possibility to pick you up at the Gap train station).
- Transport during the 2 days of hiking (possibility of carpooling).
- Drinks.
- Additional expenses.
- Cancellation / assistance / repatriation / interruption insurance.
- A basket and a knife for the picking.
- Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
