Infos & BookingDescription
I invite you to join me for two days of learning how to live in the great outdoors and discovering bivouacking in the Pyrenees mountains.
During this total immersion in the mountains, you will learn the basics of wilderness living. You will know how to successfully set up a bivouac, how to manage your pack and prepare a meal, how to optimize the weight of your backpack, when, how, and where to build a fire, as well as the relevant regulations. This authentic experience will reconnect you with what truly matters!
This trip is designed for those who wish to learn or improve their bivouacking skills while enjoying the majestic landscapes of the Pyrenees. Between forests, rivers, and breathtaking panoramas, you will experience a true immersion, far removed from everyday life, in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
The highlights of this weekend:
- Practical learning: You will leave with concrete skills to organize your own independent adventures.
- An exceptional setting: The wild beauty of the Pyrenees provides the perfect playground for an immersive and rejuvenating experience.
- Professional guidance: I will share tips and expertise with you for a successful and safe experience.
If you'd like to continue your training in autonomy, I also offer a trek preparation 3-day course in the Pyrenees.
You can also come with me for some great trips like the Pic des Posets ascent, the Añisclo canyon tour or a great discovery of the Néouvielle Conservation Area.

Meet in Arreau, an hour's drive from Tarbes or Saint-Gaudens.
The day starts with checking and optimizing the contents of your backpacks, even though you will receive a trousseau in preparation for your stay. It's important to limit the weight of the backpack and organize its storage.
Once you have finished packing, it's off for the day's hike!
When reaching the bivouac place, I wil explain how and where to pitch your tent, as well as everything to do with camp management (garbage cans, water, cold, etc.).
