Description
I propose you to come and discover the Marmites du diable canyon located between Lus-la-Croix-Haute pass and Veynes, 35 minutes drive from Gap.
You will enjoy there a beautiful aquatic hike, which is perfect for your first introduction to canyoning in the Hautes-Alpes department. All along this rout suitable for children aged 6 and over, you will live a real little adventure for families. Jumps (never mandatory), slides in natural toboggans and abseiling are just some of the activities on offer.
All in all, you will enjoy a refreshing stroli in the heart of the Buëch valley, through the beautiful basins sculpted over thousands of years by the Durbonas torrent.
The trip takes around 2 hours and can be completed by people who have not necessarily done canyoning before. You must be at least 6 years old and be able to swim. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any medical problems.

Program
- Departure in the morning or early afternoon, for around 2 hours of activity.
- Meeting point: marmites du diable canyon parking lot, close to the village of La Faurie, 35 minutes drive from Gap and 40 minute from Croix-Haute pass.
- 15-minute approach walk.
- From 1 hour to 1 hour and a half down the canyon.
- 10-minute return walk to the parking lot.
The price includes
- Supervision by the canyoning instructor.
- Technical equipment required for the practice of canyoning: 5mm neoprene wetsuit, neoprene socks, harness with double lanyards, descender, helmet. But also suitable backpacks with watertight containers to carry your clothes and water bottles.
The price does not include
- Return transport to the Marmites du Diable canyon parking lot, near the village of La Faurie.
- Swimming suit + towel.
- Sneakers or mountain boots (shoes in good condition that fit well).
- Snacks.
- At least 1 liter of water (plastic bottle) for 2 people.
- A lanyard if you wear glasses.
- An elastic band to tie back long hair.
- Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
