Description

As an expert on the best bivouac spots with easy access, I can take you camping in an unusual location in the Hautes-Alpes, in the heart of the Queyras or Ubaye mountains.

The camp can take different forms depending on your preferences: individual or group tents, rock shelters, cliff ledges, etc. But it will always be an opportunity to experience something unique and unforgettable. The approach will be by hiking and may involve some easy climbing depending on the location chosen.

We will meet either directly at the parking lot at the start of the outing or in the village of Guillestre (in which case we can carpool to the starting point).

Program

  • Departure in the afternoon from the village of Guillestre or meet directly at the starting point.
  • Between 1 and 2 hours of hiking or easy climbing with equipment to reach the bivouac site.
(Equipment might be transported ahead of time depending on the location).
  • Return at the end of the morning the following day.

The price includes

  • Supervision by the specialized mountain guide.
  • Loan of bivouac equipment (tent, mattress, disinfected sleeping bag, and single-use sleeping bag liner).
  • Carrying bag, headlamp, stove, cooking utensils, and single-use cutlery.
  • Soup and breakfast are provided.
