Rock climbing for children aged 6 and up (Guillestre)

Why not introduce your children to rock climbing?

I offer a three-hour session on a suitable site, usually located near the village of Guillestre, in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes department. They will climb short, easy routes with little approach walking. We will approach the activity in a fun way and they will love the different exercises we do.

The activity is open to children aged 6 and over.

Here are the cliffs where your children will be climbing:

• Panacelle: On the heights of Guillestre and at the gateway to the Queyras massif, this is a beautiful limestone cliff that is perfect for discovering climbing and for children. It offers many very accessible routes, located in the shade of the pine forest.
• Mont-Dauphin: Known for its famous citadel, this village also has a few climbing sites, located on the cliffs that support its fortifications. It is possible to climb here all year round and the rock is very surprising as the holds are generally either pebbles or holes.

For older children and teenagers, I also offer a multi-activity course specially designed for young people around Guillestre.

If you have older children, they will love this five-day multi-activity mountain course in the Hautes-Alpes. And for you, I suggest a day of climbing on the cliffs around Guillestre.

And why not explore one of the region's beautiful via ferrata routes together: Les Rochers de la Clapière in Ceillac, and Les Crêtes de Combe la Roche or Pra-Premier in Arvieux.

Program

• Several schedules are available depending on demand:
  • Mornings from 9am to 12pm.
  • Afternoons from 3pm to 6pm.
• Meet directly at the climbing site.
• 3-hour climbing session.

The price includes

• Supervision by the mountain guide.
• Loan of the equipment necessary for the activity (helmet, harness, shoes, ropes, etc.).

The price does not include

• Return transport to the meeting point, about 40 minutes drive from Briaçon and one hour from Gap.
• Snacks.
• Drinks.
• Insurance.
• Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
