I suggest you explore the spectacular landscapes of the Central High Atlas and climb the highest point, M'Goun, at an altitude of 4,071 meters (the ascent is however optional).
We will also descend the Oulilimt valley and the M'goun Gorges to discover many small isolated and typically Berber villages, before entering the Valley of Roses.

Program
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech and departure for the Ouzoud waterfalls.
Meeting in Marrakech and presentation by Mohamed, our Berber guide.
Transfer to the famous Ouzoud waterfalls then to the valley of Aït Bouguemez and Aarous.
Meeting of the mule drivers and the cook.
Night in lodge.
Day 2: Start of the trek to the Ikkis sheepfolds.
Distribution of bags on the mules then start of the trek for the first bivouac which will be located above the Ikkis sheepfolds at an altitude of 2,500 meters.
3 and a half hours of walking, distance: 7.2 km, elevation gain: 550 meters, elevation loss: 50 meters.
Day 3: N'Oumskiq (2,870m) and Aouri Est (3,350m) passes then Tarkeditt plateau.
Ascend the valley towards the N'Oumskiq and Aouri Est passes before descending to the Tarkeditt plateau where we spend the night in a tent at 3,350 meters above sea level.
5 hours of walking, distance: 9 km, elevation gain: 750 meters, elevation loss: 450 meters.
Day 4: Ascent of M'Goun (optional).
Departure around 4am for the ascent of M'Goun (4,071m), the summit of which we reach at the end of the morning. After an easy hike, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the oases of the Dadès valley and the M'Goun mountain range. We then begin the descent to the Oulilimt springs where we bivouac at 2,640 meters.
9 and a half hours of walking, distance: 22 km, elevation gain: 1,350 meters, elevation loss: 1,550 meters.
Without the ascent: 6 and a half hours of walking, distance: 15.5 km, elevation gain: 850 meters, elevation loss: 450 meters.
Day 5: Oulilimt valley.
Descent of the Oulilimt valley and discovery of its numerous fairy chimneys.
The stage is short to allow you to recover from the previous day's efforts.
Bivouac near the Aflafel spring (2,300m).
4 hours of walking, distance: 9.5 km, elevation gain: 100 meters, elevation loss: 450 meters.
Day 6: Oulilimt valley.
Continuation of the descent of the Oulilimt valley and crossing of numerous Berber villages, surrounded by barley fields.
Bivouac in the last village before the M'Goun gorges (2,020m).
8 hours of walking, distance: 21 km, elevation gain: 250 meters, elevation loss: 550 meters.
Day 7: M’Goun Gorges.
Unforgettable day in grandiose environments. The route through the gorges is spectacular, overlooked by walls 1,000 meters high and sometimes only one meter wide! We go down the river with our feet in the water, to the village of Tirghanimine where we bivouac (1,790m).
5 hours of walking, distance: 16.7 km, elevation gain: 300 meters, elevation loss: 500 meters.
Day 8: Valley of Roses.
We discover the villages located in the gorges, along the banks of the river. We are here in the famous Altas gardens and in the Valley of Roses where rose bushes, fruit trees and fortified kasbahs coexist.
Night in a lodge in the village of Bou Taghrar (1,740m).
5 hours of walking, distance: 22 km, elevation gain: 100 meters, elevation loss: 250 meters.
Day 9: End of the trek and transfer to Ouarzazate.
After thanking the team of porters and the cook, we leave for a short final walk among the crops.
2 hours of walking, distance: 3.3 km, elevation gain: 20 meters, elevation loss: 100 meters.
We continue our journey towards Ouarzazate where we sleep at the hotel.
Day 10: Crossing southern Morocco to Marrakech.
Detour via the Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou.
Visit to Jemaa-el-Fnaa square in Marrakech, the souk and a craft market. Festive evening then night in a riad.
Day 11: return to France.
