Description

I suggest you follow me into the Balme canyon, an introductory fun canyon located in the Mont Blanc region.

Easy to access and magnificently hollowed out by the water, it offers you a succession of slides in natural toboggans, jumps (never mandatory) and abseils up to 25 meters high, perfect for an initiation with family or friends.

This canyoning descent is made up of two parts. The first offers a succession of small waterfalls to rappel down before the superb 25 meter high waterfall. This section takes place in a wild gorge surrounded by lush vegetation. The suite becomes a real natural water park with around fifteen slides and small non-mandatory jumps.

This activity is accessible to people aged 11 and over who know how to swim.

In summary, it is an introductory canyon to discover, and even to do again...

With younger children, it is possible to start the route lower down and descend the Balme slides canyon.

Program

Choice of departure: morning or afternoon for approximately 3 hours of activity (equipment, approach walk, descent of the canyon, return walk and disequipment).
Meet at the parking lot located at 58 route des grottes de Balmes 74300 Magland.
10-minute approach walk to reach the start of the canyoning descent.
About 2.5 hours of activity in the canyon.
Return walk of 5 minutes to come back to the parking lot.

The price includes

Supervision by the canyoning instructor.
The technical equipment necessary for canyoning: 5mm neoprene suit, 3mm neoprene socks, double lanyard harness, safety carabiner and descender, helmet.
Photos taken during the outing and sent the same evening.

The price does not include

Return transport to Magland, a 40-minute drive from Chamonix or Geneva and 1 hour from Annecy.
Personal belongings such as swimsuits and bath towels.
Sneakers or walking shoes (shoes that hold your feet well with a rigid sole), ban beach or river shoes with soft soles.
A cord if you wear glasses.
A snack and a bottle of water for after the activity.
An elastic to tie long hair.
Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
