Description

Join me in the Angon canyon, a jewel of Annecy region, for an experience that is a must-do for enthusiasts of technical, athletic canyoning.

With its towering vertical drops and unique aesthetic, it harmoniously blends aquatic challenges with vertiginous descents. This canyon is best suited for experienced canyoneers seeking thrills and physical challenges.

The highlight of the adventure is rappelling down the famous Grande Cascade d’Angon, a waterfall standing 35 to 40 meters tall. This spectacular moment is heightened by "spider-web" rappels, suspended in the air, offering breathtaking views of the torrent below. The route also features the famous "mailbox" squeeze, natural water slides, and fun jumps, all set amidst lush scenery.

Located near the village of Talloires-Montmin, this canyon offers a half-day of adrenaline and magnificent landscapes, including a panoramic view of Lake Annecy from the lookout trail. I offer the near-complete route here, starting from the footbridge, for a truly memorable descent. Nestled between mountains and rushing waters, the Angon canyon is an unforgettable adventure for seasoned athletes looking for a spectacular aquatic challenge.

Program

Meet at the Angon canyon parking lot.
40-minute approach walk to the start of the canyon.
Approximately 2.5 hours for the canyoning descent.
10-minute approach walk back to the parking lot.
A total of about 3.5 hours of activity.

The price includes

Supervision by the canyoning instructor.
Technical equipment required for the activity: 5mm wetsuit, neoprene socks, harness with double lanyards, and helmet.
Photos of the outing.
Price: 69€ per person.
Discount for pre-formed groups of at least 6 people: 64€ per person.
Bachelor & bachelorette parties: group rate + half price for the bride or groom-to-be (for groups of 8 or more).

Round-trip transportation to the village of Talloires-Montmin, a 30-minute drive from Annecy.
