Description
I propose you to join me and leave for four wonderful days of ski touring discovery in Italy, in the Piedmont region.
Each day, the ski tours will be done either as star-shaped or as a traverse. In case of bad weather or snow conditions, I will offer a similar tour in another location.
Accommodation will be in lodges and/or mountain huts.
If you are interested in other exciting skiing adventures closer to home or further afield, you can join me for:
- a ski touring trip in the mountains of Turkey,
- a ski touring raid in Valais around Mont Vélan and Grand Combin
- and a three-day mini ski touring trip in the Hautes-Alpes.
Program
D1: Installation in the lodge and ski touring warm up outing.
D2: Ski touring outing.
Night in the lodge.
D3: Ski touring round trip above the lodge.
Night in the lodge.
D4: Ski touring crossing, transfer and return.
The price includes
- Supervision by the mountain guide.
- The guide's fees.
- Loan of the safety equipment (avalanche beacon, shovel, probe).
- First aid kit.
The price does not include
- Return transport to Piedmont (carpooling possible).
- Ski touring insurance in Italy (possibility over 4 days).
- Accommodation and transfers (details on request).
- Dinners and breakfasts.
- Picnics.
- Drinks.
- Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
