Which hiker in the Chartreuse massif, close to Grenoble, hasn't walked past the trou du Glaz or the porch of the Guiers Mort? Probably no one.
But few of them, on the other hand, know that these 2 majestic entrances in the Dent de Crolles communicate through of 2 kilomètre of wells and galleries.
And this is precisely what this crossing, which has remained unknown for a long time, offers to discover. After a first technical part, including the splendid 36-meter well, we reach the "geological floor of the Guiers Mort" and its gigantic galleries.
