Multi pitch climbing route above Annecy lake (Haute-Savoie)

Description

I propose you to go for a magnificent multi pitch climbing route called "Harmonie" which is located in the cliff of the Grandes Suites which overlooks the superb lake of Annecy in Haute-Savoie.

All along the seven sunny pitches of the route, you will enjoy some beautiful climbing, on a magnificent limestone rock, with many steps in slab but also in overhang or in crack: it is there that we will be able to notice your ease. The pitches are well bolted and are all rated between 5c and 6a+. The panorama on the lake of Annecy is exceptional during the 150 meters of ascent and I'm sure you will love the atmosphere.

This outing is also an opportunity to review, before starting climbing, the safety techniques specific to multi pitch routes (rope handling at the anchor, belaying the second and the leader, abseiling, etc.), so that you can lead a few pitches.

If you are interested in another route on the Grandes Suites cliff or on another cliff nearby or a little further away, don't hesitate to tell me about your project: it is quite possible to consider another route and to adapt it to your wishes.

Program

• Meeting point in Veyrier-du-Lac around 8.30am.
  About 15 minutes drive from Annecy and 45 minutes from Albertville.
• Approximately 30 minutes of approach walking to the start of the route.
• Between 4 and 6 hours of climbing in the route according to your level.
• Abseiling (about 1 hour 30 minutes).
• 30 minutes of return walking to the parking lot.

The price includes

• Supervision by the climbing instructor.
• Loan of safety equipment (rope, quickdraws, harness and helmet if necessary, etc. ).

The price does not include

• Transport to the meeting point in Veyrier-du-Lac.
• Personal insurance.
• Climbing shoes.
• Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
