Hiking and relaxation weekend in Gap (Hautes-Alpes)

Description

Come and discover the region of Gap and the treasures it abounds in, during unique hikes. You will be delighted by the great diversity of landscapes that the Gap region ("soft capital") offers you. Various playgrounds are open to you! Between the summits and gorges of Provence, the lunar landscapes of the French Dolomites or the Hautes-Alpes and its lakes, the waterfalls and the wild mountains still preserved, the choice is yours! I adapt the program according to the opinions of each one but especially in the respect of the group. Do not hesitate to contact me for more details.

Note: if you have a group and you want to manage your meals, it is possible! The price of the self-catering stay is 155€ per person.

If you have more time, I also propose throughout the summer :

• a 3-day hiking mini stay around Gap,
• and a 6-day hiking stay in the Hautes-Alpes.

Program

It is possible to arrive at the lodge the day before for more comfort, for a supplement of 65€.

D1: Hiking in the Céüze massif.
Meeting at 2pm in our comfortable lodge located in the city of Gap. We start our hike in the heart of the Pre-Alps of Provence in the massif of Ceüze. To reach the summit, we walk on ridges where we may meet chamois. Once at the top, various possibilities are offered to us according to your desires. We will then return to the lodge to share a mountain meal together and exchange your impressions of this day.

D2: Hike to the Aiguilles de Chabrières.
For your second day, direction the Aiguilles of Chabrières! Today our hike starts at the Réallon resort. Our ascent leads us in a forest of larches where we may have the opportunity to see some nice roe deers. Once on the ridge, you can stop at a beautiful viewpoint and contemplate the lake of Serre-Ponçon. During our ascent of the "aiguilles", we pass through a chimney to reach the summit at 2349 meters. Guaranteed amazement! Difficult to know where to look! Then we go down around the Oucanes (geological curiosities) where we could well cross a local shepherd accompanied by his sheep in the faults of the "lapiaz" (Oucanes). Finally, on the way back, you can contemplate the entrails of the biggest dam in Europe.
