Description

Halfway between rock climbing and via ferrata, this via corda in the Aston valley climbs a magnificent rocky peak in the heart of a beautiful Ariège valley.

All along the route, you will find yourself traversing rocky spurs and ledges on an easy route, sometimes with a few more technical steps. As the route progresses, the atmosphere becomes more and more vertiginous, and some passages are spectacular, until you reach the highest point, which offers an incredible view of the surrounding mountains.

The descent is made by abseiling and zip-lining, to give you all the thrills and spills you could wish for.

On this outing, we use only ropes to climb and secure ourselves. It's accessible to teenagers aged 14 and over.

If you fancy more vertical adventures in the region, you can follow me on the Vicdessos via ferrata or for a climbing session in Ax-les-Thermes.
