Come and discover the wild splendor of the Himalayas with this trek through the Gurung pastures. This harmonious adventure between magnificent nature and adventurous spirit will plunge you into a world where every step reveals breathtaking landscapes and a wealth of culture.

Itinerary:
Starting from the picturesque village of Laprak, this trek winds through lush forests, terraced fields and picturesque villages, revealing the majestic presence of Mount Manaslu. You'll traverse a variety of landscapes, from rhododendron forests to alpine meadows, for an ever-changing adventure.

Cultural encounter:
One of the highlights of this trek in the Gurungs pastures is the cultural immersion. You'll explore authentic Gurungs villages, interact with locals, savor their traditional cuisine and discover age-old customs, adding an emotional dimension to your experience.

Challenges and rewards:
This adventure presents stimulating challenges, testing the mettle of seasoned hikers. The rewards are equally monumental, with panoramic views of Manaslu, serene glacial lakes and the satisfaction of conquering high mountain passes.

Best time to trek:
This trek is best undertaken in spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), to benefit from favorable weather and maximum visibility.

Program

D1: Arrival in Kathmandu.
On arrival in Kathmandu, you have a free day to settle in and complete all formalities.

D2: Kathmandu - Gorkha - Ghayampesal - Deurali (1300m).
You embark on a scenic journey, combining a 7-hour bus ride with a 3-hour hike that takes you through the cultural tapestry of Gorkha and Ghayampesal, eventually reaching picturesque Deurali at 1300 meters altitude.

D3: Deurali - Thala (1600m).
You enjoy a 6-hour hike to Thala at 1600 meters, where a comfortable tent awaits you, offering a quiet evening in the heart of nature.

D4: Thala - Dharche Pass (3200m) - Sambai (2700m).
Today's hike is challenging but rewarding, climbing to the Dharche Pass at 3200 meters and descending to the serene village of Sambai at 2600 meters. Overnight camping adds an adventurous touch to this stage of the trip.
5 to 6 hours walking.

D5: Sambai - Laprak new village (2700m).
A moderate 4-5 hour hike takes you to the new village of Laprak at 2700 meters altitude. You're treated to breathtaking scenery and the warm hospitality of the local people.

D6: New Laprak - Lampro Kharka (3200m).
The day begins with an ascent to Lampro Kharka at 3200 meters. You cross alpine meadows dotted with wild flowers, offering breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks. You'll also enjoy the peace and quiet of this isolated spot surrounded by majestic mountains.

D7: Lampro Kharka - Rupse Tal (3500m).
You continue your trek towards Rupse Tal, a magnificent lake at 3500 meters altitude. The lake offers a picturesque setting for a lunch break, with snow-capped peaks reflected in its calm waters. You continue your journey through a variety of landscapes.
Overnight in tents.

D8: Rupse Tal - Rokang Danda (3200m).
On the way, you admire the natural beauty of the Himalayan landscape and explore the cultural riches of the local villages. Rokang Danda offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ridges.
This village is the highlight of the trek, offering views of over 20 Himalayan peaks. Among the most imposing are Buddha Himal, Sringi Himal, Ganesh I, Ganesh II and Ganesh III (among others). The locals share their traditional dances and cultural delights with visitors.
Approximately 5-6 hours' walk and overnight in a tent, offering an immersive experience in the majesty of the Himalayas.

D9: Rokang Danda - old Laprak (2100m).
You descend to old Laprak at 2100 meters. This traditional village is steeped in history and culture. Explore the winding lanes, visit the local temples and appreciate the traditional architecture of the stone houses.

D10: Old Laprak - Macha Khola (950m).
The descent continues to Macha Khola at 950 meters. Enjoy the serenity of this peaceful spot nestled in the hills, meet the local people and discover their unique way of life in the mountains.
Overnight in a lodge.

D11: Macha Khola - Gorkha (1520m).
6-hour bus journey from Macha Khola to Gorkha, enjoying the changing landscape and local life along the way.
Overnight in hotel.

D12: Gorkha - Kathmandu.
End your adventure with a 6-hour drive from Gorkha to Kathmandu.

The price includes

Any trip interrupted or abridged, any change of program at the request of the participants (accident, illness, mountain sickness, early return, trek abbreviated, etc.) can not give rise to any refund.
