Description
Halfway between hiking and climbing, I invite you to explore the Gresse-en-Vercors via corda, in a wild and magnificent environment.
This via corda is the perfect place to breathe fresh air and discover a fun, easy and sensational vertical climbing activity.
After an approach walk of around 45 minutes, you will arrive at the foot of the cliff to start the via corda. The route which winds on the rock offers easy climbing, vertiginous walking, a few via ferrata sections with bars, a monkey bridge, a ladder and even a 25-meter abseil (avoidable, however, by taking a descending ledge). You will reach the summit of Le Palais at 1558 meters above sea level and enjoy an exceptional 180° panorama over the Trièves region, the eastern barrier of the Vercors and the emblematic Mont Aiguille.
The course is suitable for children aged 8 and over. It will also delight thrill-seekers and climbing enthusiasts looking for challenges.
The Gresse-en-Vercors via corda is open from mid-April to mid-November.

Program
- Morning or afternoon departure.
- Approach walking: approximately 45 minutes.
- Via corda route: around 1 hour and a half.
- You can take a break and have snack on the heights in front of a sublime panorama.
- About a half-hour walk back to the parking lot.
The price includes
- Supervision by the climbing instructor.
- Loan of equipment required for the activity (harness, helmet, lanyard, rope, belay device, etc.).
- Group first aid kit.
The price does not include
- Return transport to the meeting point in the village of Gresse-en-Vercors, about 50 minutes drive from Grenoble (carpooling possible depending on your point of departure).
- Shoes suitable for the activity.
- Snacks.
- Drinks.
- Optional: on request, possibility to make photos and/or video of the outing (rate: 30€ for the group).
- Anything not mentioned in "Price includes".
