Description

In the heart of the Vercors Regional Park, the Choranche via corda offers a beautiful journey over the famous Presles cliffs, where climbers come from all over the world to climb a magnificent rock sometimes 300 meters high. The route is vertiginous, fun and varied.

The via corda is located above the Choranche caves, famous for caving. After an approach walk of around 1/4 hour, we will set off for two pitches of easyclimbing with short passages that will give you a great feeling, and where we'll be roped together for safety. This will take us to the grand vire de Choranche, on which we'll walk in an incredible atmosphere to find a pink cave. From here, the view of the Vercors massif is incredible. The last part of the route is the most fun, with an impressive abseiling descent of almost 50 metres to reach the way back.
