Climbing for young kids around Grenoble or Chambéry

Description

I propose to introduce your children to climbing, from their very first steps. Climbing is a sport that develops motor skills, coordination, observation, curiosity and complicity with you.

This session is open to parents who want to share an activity together with their child(ren), or who want to give their child the opportunity to explore his or her senses in complete safety with a professional.

Indoors or outdoors, in Grenoble, Chambéry or the surrounding areas, we will find a suitable, risk-free room or cliff for your toddler to climb and learn through games, but also to have a first contact with the wall or rock.

Thus, we can go either to one of the Espace Vertical rooms in Grenoble or Saint-Martin-d'Hères, or to one of the many cliffs around Grenoble or in the Vercors massif: Saint-Egrève, le Petit Désert, Lans-en-Vercors, etc.

It is also possible to get closer to Chambéry in Climb Up or "Chambéry escalade" rooms or even to gain altitude, for example at the Col du Coq in the Chartreuse massif or even in the Bauges.

All these sites are child-friendly with suitable and safe track bases. The limestone rock is good and these cliffs have routes of moderate difficulty that are very compatible with climbing and the development of the little ones.

Program

• Plan for 2 hours of activity. It may seem like a lot, but you will see, time flies.
• As a mother of two young children myself, I can adapt the class to your child's needs.
• Time for warm-up, games and calming down.
• This outing can be combined with a perched meal or snack on request.

The price includes

• Supervision by the climbing instructor.
• Loan of equipment required for the activity (harness, helmet, lanyard, ropes, quickdraws, belay device, etc.).
• First aid kit.

The price does not include

• Return transport to the activity spot (possible carpooling).
• Snacks.
• Drinks.
• Shoes suited to the activity.
