Climbing and via ferrata course for teens (Chamonix)

Description

I propose a 4-day course dedicated to rock climbing and via ferrata to delight your teenagers in the beautiful Chamonix valley in Haute-Savoie! 🌞

The "vertical teen course" allows them to practice climbing (on single pitches as well as multi-pitch routes) and via ferrata in a small group of 4 participants aged 12 to 16.

The course is confirmed once 3 people have booked. In the event of cancellation (due to bad weather or insufficient numbers), your 100€ deposit will be refunded.

I also offer climbing sessions in the Chamonix valley, mini multi-pitch climbs on the Gaillands cliff in Chamonix, and an evening suspended on the cliff in Les Contamines-Montjoie for you or your family.

Program

The program is adaptable according to the level of each one:

D1: Climbing in Chamonix.
Meet at 9am on the cliff of Les Gaillands for a day of climbing until 4pm.
On this historical school site (the closest to the center of Chamonix) there are many routes in all levels, including easy ones in grades 4 and 5. The beautiful compact gneiss of the place offers all styles of climbing: dihedral, slab, overhang, vertical wall... enough to delight all climbers!

D2: Climbing in the Chamonix valley.
Meeti at 9pm either in Servoz for a new climbing session, or at the Col des Montets or at the Bossons site for a bouldering session.
The schist cliff of Servoz has about thirty routes, rated from 4 to 6, of 50 meters maximum, in slab, vertical or overhanging. Everyone will find routes to his or her taste and level.
As for the bouldering sites, they offer hundreds of routes of all levels, with magnificent views of the surrounding high peaks.
After a picnic break, we will continue the day on the Bérard waterfall via ferrata located above the village of Vallorcine.
End of the day at 4pm.

D3: Multi pitch climbing in the Chamonix valley.
Departure at 9am for a day of multi pitch route climbing which will end around 4pm. The itinerary is to be defined according to the level of each person.
We can for example go to the granite slabs of Vallorcine or to the Duchère cliff above the village of Les Contamines-Montjoie.

D4: Via ferrata in Saint-Gervais or Passy.
Departure at 9am for a day of via ferrata.
Two routes are possible:

• The via ferrata of Curalla in Passy.
• The first part of the via ferrata of the thermal park in Saint-Gervais.

The price includes

• Supervision by the climbing instructor.
• Via ferrata and climbing equipment  necessary for the practice of the activities (except climbing shoes): harness, helmet, belay device, quickdraws, ropes, via ferrata lanyard with energy absorber, etc.

The price does not include

• Return transports to the meeting point (Chamonix or other).
• Lodging.
• Picnics.
• Snacks.
• Drinks.
• Climbing shoes.
• Insurance for climbing and via ferrata.
• Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
