Description
The descent of the Tapoul canyon in the Cévennes is an incredible experience combining wild landscapes and sporting activities.
Located at the foot of the Aigual massif, this canyon, also known as the "aqualand of the Cévennes", takes place in an absolutely magnificent natural environment, with breathtaking scenery. You'll be surrounded by lush vegetation and immersed in a wilderness atmosphere. Cascades and waterfalls create a refreshing and dynamic atmosphere along the way.
Both sporty and technical, the canyoning descent into the bowels of the Tapoul offers you natural slides, abseils, numerous jumps into basins (up to 9 meters high, but never mandatory), cascades and waterfalls. Every step of the way offers a new surprise and an adrenalin rush.
In short, the Tapoul canyon in the Cévennes is a fantastic experience for adventure, nature and thrill-seekers.
The activity is open to children aged 12 and over. Discounts are available for groups of 4 or more.

Program
- Meet in the village of Rousses, about an hour and 20 minutes' drive from Millau or Alès.
- 30 minutes for equipment, approach walk, briefing and shuttle (depending on the period).
- 3 hours for the canyoning descent.
- 30 minutes return walk, de-equipping and shuttle (depending on the period).
- A total of 4 hours of activity on average.
- The canyon is closed on Mondays and Fridays during the low season, and on Mondays and Sundays in July and August.
The price includes
- Supervision by the experienced canyoning instructor.
- Quality equipment necessary for the practice of the activity (5mm neoprene wetsuit, neoprene socks, helmet, safety harness, etc.).
The price does not include
- Transport to and from Rousses.
- Swimsuit, shoes and towel.
- Snacks.
- Drinks.
- Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
