As an ANENA trainer (French National Association for the Study of Snow and Avalanches), I propose this training / improvement ski touring course entitled "Ski touring trace making" and taking place in Italy, in Aosta Valley.

On the program, 2 days to learn how to use risk management methods and how to adapt the outing, the route, the track.

The goal is to understand your fieldwork and give correct instructions so that all participants can apply it accurately. Indeed, the internship aims to help ski touring enthusiasts, who go out with groups of friends, to decide what to do, how to do it, etc. ... based on specific and objective methods and documents.

D1: Meet at 7.30am in La Thuile (Aosta Valley - Italy), checking of the personal equipment of each trainee and start of the course with a theoretical part on snow and avalanches (duration 1h30). The day will continue skiing with a ski tour from the top of the ski lifts. You will take advantage of this to apply the topics covered in the morning.
Return to La Thuile at the end of the afternoon, and direction the hotel where the stay is planned and preparation for the next day's outing. ½ board at the hotel.

D2: Meet at 8am at the hotel for the realization of the planned outing. This one will have been chosen together according to the objectives of the training which will be treated during the course.
