Climbing: cliff safety course (Vercors)

Description

I am offering you a technical climbing course to learn or deepen your knowledge and questions about cliff safety. This one-day course takes place in the Vercors massif near Grenoble. It can be spread over several shorter sessions if you prefer.

This course is a great way to put into practice what it takes to set off on an adventure and climb the summits of the world with complete peace of mind. It's an opportunity for me to show you all my knowledge and professionalism.

This day can be spent on one of the many Vercors cliffs located near Grenoble: Petit Désert, Désert de l’Écureuil, Saillants du Gua, Allières, Lans-en-Vercors, and others. All offer numerous routes on beautiful limestone rock. You will find routes of all levels (from grade 4 to grade 8), all styles (slab, vertical wall, overhang, crack, etc.), and all lengths. Some sites are better suited to warmer weather (higher altitude with shade), while others are very pleasant even when it is a bit chilly. You are sure to find the perfect cliff to match your desires and skill level!

I also offer other courses to improve your skills, knowledge of the equipment and autonomy: an introduction to aid climbing in Isère, a technical course in the Vercors dedicated to rope handling in rock climbing, or a course in Isère to cure your fear of falling when climbing.

Program

Modular learning themes according to your needs and your desires:

• Rescue technique, stall of his rope mate.
• Different hauls, help to the top rope climber on a multi pitch route.
• Abseiling.
• The different belaying techniques.
• Rope climbing.

The price includes

• Supervision by the climbing instructor.
• Loan of all equipment required for the course (ropes, quickdraws, harness, helmet, belay device, etc.).
• First aid kit.

The price does not include

• Return transport to the meeting place.
• Drinks.
• Snacks.
• Picnic lunch.
• Climbing shoes suitable for the outing.
• Anything not mentioned in "The price includes".
