Snowshoeing and yoga course in the Diois (Vercors)
from 728 € / p. from 5 to 14 personsInfos & Booking
Come and take a break to recharge your batteries by mixing snowshoe trekking and yoga in Grimone, this peaceful place in the Diois.
This week in the south of the Vercors massif will be a break from your daily life and a time to live this quiet contentment.
I will accompany you for the snowshoe hikes. The landscapes of the Vercors in winter are of a rare beauty. Each snowshoe hike in the snow-covered mountains invites us to joy, emotion, calm, to savour the silence and to open our curiosity. It will be the opportunity to experiment different types of walking (conscious walking, Afghan walking, meditative walking...) in order to find the pace that best suits the moment. The practice of snowshoeing is not necessary, but you will learn, it's easy!
Nathalie NGUYEN VAN, qualified yoga teacher and FYA affiliate, trained by AJIT SARKAR, will guide you for the yoga and meditation sessions. These will be proposed in close relation with the hikes (preparing the body in the morning and recovering in the evening). The days without hiking will allow you to deepen the practice of yoga with mantra chanting, silent meditative walking, readings, olfactory meditation, in order to develop your full awareness.
Nathalie and I will be happy to share snowshoe hikes and yoga sessions, our two practices that complement each other, in a simple and friendly way, to accompany you in this experience of harmonizing body and mind to welcome what is on offer.
Our hosts will prepare delicious meals for you and will make your stay very pleasant thanks to the warm atmosphere.
