Electric mountain bike on the Queyras balconies

Description

Electric mountain biking is a new activity that allows you to combine the joys of cycling and the discovery of the territory. Guided by a mountain leader also mountain bike instructor, it's like having two trips in one!

During this stay in the Queyras massif, there is nothing too technical: I propose easy level rides for beginners or those who are not used to mountain biking and who want to discover a new way of riding.

All along this itinerary in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes department, you will discover the best biking itineraries, spectacular mountain landscapes and the atmosphere of the larch forests and the Queyras villages.

Program

Day 1: The Aigues valley.
A beautiful day of warm-up to discover the typical villages of Pierre Grosse, Molines-en-Queyras and Saint-Véran (I will take the time to make the visit), followed by an excursion in the valley of the Blanche. There you will admire the glacier lakes nestled at the foot of the Tête des Toillies and its renovated refuge where we will have the chance to taste a blueberry pie and enjoy the sun before descending between pastures and larch forest.

Day 2: Upper Guil valley.
We set off from the village of Abriès in the direction of Italy's Mont Viso, the highest peak in the Queyras region at 3,841 meters. The mountain scenery is magnificent, and if we have a little time and energy left, we will make a foray into the Valpréveyre valley.

Day 3: Souliers and Roue lake.
You are in the limestone Queyras, and you will climb to dominate the imposing castle of Chateau Queyras and access the hidden valley of Souliers. You take the time to admire the beautiful Roue lake, which changes color every season. Today we make you happy: we have lunch at the hut!

Day 4: The valleys of Ceillac.
The two valleys of Ceillac are unmissable and are often considered the best place for an electric mountain bike ride. You go for a hike in front of the massif of Font Sancte, the summit of the Queyras massif, between extraordinary torrents that can make the occasion of a small bathing, forests, remarkable geology and villages outside time that remind us of the good life that we have in the Queyras.

D5: Arvieux valley.
To end the week, we will try to climb to find a beautiful alpine ambience, to be sure to find beautiful panoramas and remind our biking week. As you have obviously progressed, I will certainly take you on some beautiful single tracks to finish the week.
