Description

You practice climbing indoors or outdoors, but you are not autonomous?

This climbing session around Grenoble aims to show you the right gestures and to prepare you to climb outside in complete safety.

How to prepare yourself and manage your climbing equipment on site?
How to instal a rope for top rode climbing (management of the belay)?
Lead climbing, management of quickdraws, etc.: these will be the topics discussed during this session.

This half-day course can take place on one of the many cliffs surrounding Grenoble:

  • the Col du Coq in Chartreuse,
  • Saint-Égrève, "le petit désert" or "le désert de l'écureuil" in the immediate vicinity of the city,
  • Lans-en-Vercors,
  • and many others!

If you practice climbing only indoors, I also offer a climbing course focused on indoor autonomy.

Program

The climbing session will take place on an outdoor cliff of (very) easy level, close to the Grenoble agglomeration, over a period of 3 hours.
