This outing taking place on one of the highest peak of the Écrins massif doesn't have big difficulties but is complete: snow corridor at 40/45°, de-escalation, abseils...
The descent of the glacier des Violettes is sublime and unforgettable.
A good physical form is necessary to appreciate this beautiful and great outing.

Program
D1: Climb to the Pelvoux hut.
Departure from Ailefroide village and climbing to the Pelvoux refuge to spend the night.
Positive elevation: 1200m.
D2: Mount Pelvoux ascent (3946m).
We climb the Coolidge corridor and then descent through the Violettes glacier. Back to Ailefroide.
Positive elevation: 1250m, negative: 2450m.
